Farnborough auctions sponsorship deal

21 Sep 2011

In a trial programme, sponsorship of the “Kids Go Free” scheme at FIA 2012 will be made available to all interested parties through an auction of the sponsorship rights.

The Kids Go Free initiative allows children under 16 to enter FIA free of charge by offsetting a proportion of the £150k lost ticket revenue against the sponsorship, thereby enabling more families with children to attend FIA.

This exclusive sponsorship includes a comprehensive marketing package that provides brand exposure to the general public not only during FIA 2012 itself, but also throughout the nine month build up to the show via a £250k public marketing campaign that reaches an estimated 2.9 million people.

The auction is open to qualifying prospects as of the 19th of September 2011 for a period of one calendar month. The minimum bid will be £50,000 GBP with a “Buy it Now” price of £100,000 GBP.
