The SECC has unveiled a 10 year agreement that will see Compass Group UK & Ireland’s Levy Restaurants brand deliver creative catering services across the SECC site including the new Scottish Hydro Arena. The partnership will see a £6m investment in the venue's catering outlets.
The agreement also marks the start of a joint venture with Levy Restaurants whose investment in the site will include new outlet brands across the exhibition halls, conference centre and the new live event arena, The Scottish Hydro, which is scheduled to open in 2013.
John Sharkey, Chief Executive of the SECC said: “We are passionate about what we do here at the SECC and Compass shares that same passion when it comes to delivering food for the hundreds of thousands of visitors to the venue," says SECC boss, John Sharkey. "We know that food is a big part of the visitor experience and that Compass is as committed today as it was 26 years ago to providing the best catering options and hospitality across all areas of the SECC.”
